A visual field test is a test that eye care professionals use to help monitor and detect glaucoma. The visual field test measures a patient’s entire scope of vision, including their central and peripheral vision. This allows eye care professionals to detect any developing blind spots in patients, that may effect their vision.

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a non-invasive imaging technology that uses light waves to take high-resolution cross-section images of your retina. This allows the Ophthalmologist to gather information to aid in diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and retinal diseases.

The Pentacam® AXL is a multifunctional piece of equipment with the ability to capture high resolution cross sectional images of the anterior segment, measure axial length and perform IOL calculations, perform corneal topography mapping, pachymetry measurements, anterior and posterior corneal elevation maps, corneal wavefront analysis, anterior chamber angle measurement, anterior chamber depth and volume measurements as well as keratoconus detection and staging.
